KihanNama
Interactive 3D aerospace and space exploration platform for real-time satellite tracking, orbital mechanics, and space station catalogs.

Overview
KihanNama is an interactive full-stack 3D aerospace platform for tracking active satellites, simulating orbital mechanics, and exploring space stations and launch vehicles. Powered by CesiumJS, Resium, React 19, and a FastAPI backend with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, it streams orbital paths and coordinates using Lagrange 5th-degree interpolation and CZML. The platform includes launch vehicle profiles, space station modules (ISS & Tiangong), and deep-space ground station networks.
Key Benchmark:
Consistent 60 FPS rendering under active dynamic CZML orbital streams
Key Engineering Features
Key Technical Challenges & Solutions
1Accurate orbital propagation for hundreds of satellites without browser lag
Offloaded heavy SGP4 propagation to async Python backend, generating batched CZML packets with GPU-accelerated rendering.
2CesiumJS memory management during extended user sessions
Implemented automatic buffer eviction, capped concurrent active tracking to 10 satellites, and detached off-screen primitives.
